What is E339?

A sodium phosphate is a generic variety of salts of sodium and phosphate. Phosphate also forms families or condensed anions including di-, tri-, tetra-, and polyphosphates. E339 sits in the E300–E399 series, which in the EU classification mainly covers antioxidants and acidity regulators.
