What is E341?

The term calcium phosphate refers to a family of materials and minerals containing calcium ions (Ca2+) together with inorganic phosphate anions (PO3−4). Some so-called calcium phosphates contain oxide and hydroxide as well. E341 sits in the E300–E399 series, which in the EU classification mainly covers antioxidants and acidity regulators.
